Buy it now box disappeared for no reason at all
Hi there,
I’m in need of some help.
We’ve been selling on Amazon for 2 years. We sell bathlifts for the elderly and disabled. We started using FBA at the start for around 4 months but due to customers returning the products that had been used (a health and hygiene risk) we had to stop this. We then carried on selling using our own couriers with no issues until this year. We suddenly lost the ‘next day delivery’ for no reason at all in January and then it was reinstated a month later (we carried on sending all the products next day regardless of this). With the current situation our sales have been high and we’ve continued to offer next day service to all of our customers and receiving 5 star product reviews. Yesterday there suddenly was no sales so I went to investigate and noticed that Amazon have took the ‘buy it now’ box off all of our listings with no warning email. I checked all of our metrics and nothing had changed. Our account health was totally fine and there was no issues at all. I then contact Amazon who say they cannot discuss why they’ve done it even though it’s my account? I know why they cannot discuss and it’s because there is nothing wrong with our account and they’ve just took it off probably because we were getting more sales than the other products that sell with FBA. There is no third party sellers that sell our items either.
Surely this is against the law? I’m not going to receive any sales but they can still take my advertising fees and shop fees and give me no reason as to why they’ve done this.
Their seller support used to be fantastic but since January has literally turned upside down and all you can get is a copy and pasted answer that doesn’t even answer my question.
I honestly have no where else to turn to except to see if anyone else has a similar issue. Building up a business that’s been took away in a day for no reason has me really frustrated.
Many thanks in advance

How would removing the buy box be against the law?
Annoying and detrimental to your sales yes, but unlawful?
