How to make RM lost parcel claim
We used RM 1st and 2nd class (purchased via Amazon) and a number of customers who either received the items later than expected or didn’t them at all.
How do I go about recouping the costs for said items from RM ?

There is a claim form online, or you can pick up a hard copy in a PO.
You will need a proof of posting receipt to be able to make a claim.

You can apply via amazon for the label cost back though if you go back into the consignment

Don’t give up that easily. If you don’t have proof of postage then in its place on the online claim form just upload a pdf of the address label instead. In my experience this usually works just fine and Royal Mail will happily pay out.
Unfortunately I think Amazon remove any means of accessing the label after a certain period of time (my experience with this method is mostly eBay and Etsy orders) which makes things a bit tricky. I guess one could get into the habit of downloading all of the address labels but it would be a bit of a faff.

They might have an internal scan recorded on these new 2d barcodes and may pay out with it without a pop.
