I'm a new seller and I have my own brand (trademarked in the UK). I bought my GTINs (EANs) from GS1 and I'm having difficulty creating a listing as it's giving me error 8541.

My products are clothes, so for example for a shirt I have variations in colour and size and I have barcodes for unique colour and sizes. I initially entered all the product information with the new version of Add a Product interface. When I entered the EANs from GS1, I didn't initially encounter any issues.

However, after I entered the product dimensions and weight details every single variation I had was marked with error 8541 (it says something like 8541: The value Slate Grey specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value Black for ASIN B0CC9ZJ9LG in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN B0CC9ZJ9LG, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/European Article Number)).

I'm in touch with seller support but after almost a week I have not had anything useful from them and I'm reaching out to the forum to see if anyone has any suggestions? I have provided seller support GS1 certificate that shows the company prefix and also my trademark certificate.

The goods that have been sent to FBA, the listing has been deleted, and I can't get it back by uploading the product. What should I do?

Before June, I added a product via Add Product via upload and shipped it to FBA.

On June 1, I used the same template to update this SKU, and error 8541 occurred. If I deleted the SKU,

and re-uploaded it two days later, error 8541 still occurred.

I asked the seller support, she told me to use the large category template Sport to upload, but error 8541 still occurred, and the seller support told me to wait for the AMAZON team to solve it.

A week later, the seller support emailed back and said that there was no error, and I used the previous Sport Goods template to upload, but error 8541 still occurred. Then I waited for the seller support team to solve it again.

Another week later, the seller support team said to use the large category template AutoAccessory to upload, but error 8541 still occurred.

I'm trying to list a product with variations.

When I add a variation and insert the correct EAN (which I have done successfully for other products), I receive the error code 8541 on 'Material', under 'Product Details' page.

The value Polyester specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‎Polyester, Memory Foam for ASIN B0CYKXR69S in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN B0CYKXR69S, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/European Article Number (EAN)/Part Number/etc.). Learn how to fix this error.

On checking the ASIN's listed in the error message, I find that they do not exist.

The only way I have found to get rid of the error code 8541 and to be able to summit the listing is to change the UPC/EAN/GTIN to a ASIN - but it is a UPC/EAN/GTIN, bought from mygs1 UK.

When I have tried to submit the listing using ASIN, it seems to go through ok but under 'Inventory Manager', the listings doesn't appear, even after a couple of days.

I have been contacting Seller Support but most of their replies seem to have no relevance to the problem.

Any help would be gratefully apricated.
