Lost inventory

hi,
I sent inventory to Amazon fulfilment center however after receiving all inventory, it went to FC Processing I contacted several time to SS however they said," we have completed an additional review and confirmed that we have no record of receiving the units in question, therefore we are unable to issue a reimbursement".
I sent an email to MD and got response,"Our Managing Director has received your email and has requested that I respond on his behalf.

We are currently investigating the issue you raised.

As soon as I have an update, I will come back to you."
Anyone help me how to sort out this issue.

If the stock is in FC processing, it is just being moved around the system and has not been lost.

So is there more to this?

We also had an issue with lost inventory, we managed to get it to an escalations team and they found the 1000 units that were ‘‘missing’’ . They soon went into stock.

The moral of the story is that after the initial wasted contact to seller support when you will inevitably get the scripted answer, “sorry, there’s nothing we can do”. Immediately escalate it to the MDs office.

It’s such a shame there isn’t an official and published or even automated way of escalating issues. If you’ve never heard of the MDs office via the forums, you’re in trouble.
