Hello,
We are very concerned and frustrated about the KYC Know Your Customer Verification for UK Establishment. Can someone from Amazon UK and/or some other sellers with successful experience help?
We were required to submit proof for KYC Know Your Customer Verification for UK Establishment on 1/25/2024. We submitted the required documents by email to kyc-drtax-verification@amazon.co.uk . Following that, we received another email requesting for additional documents with a case number. So we submitted the additional documents again on 3/6/2024, however, despite of many follow-ups to this email address and Seller Central cases, we never received any further replies.
Then all of sudden, on 3/20/2024, we got a call from Amazon UK's seller service team, saying that they never received any submitted documents. This is so strange! They obviously received our first submission when requesting for additional documents with a case number.
Nonetheless, we followed that seller service staff's instructions and re-provided the documents via uploading at the ""Determination of "Establishment" for VAT," . We are confident all the documents we provided meet the requirements.
However, then we received another email requesting for additional documents, the ones we provided already.
So we double checked all the documents and re-uploaded them to the same portal. Then again, we received another email requesting for the same additional documents.
It's like a vicious closed circle that goes nowhere. We called Account Health helpline, but they could not tell us why the documents we submitted is not accepted by the verification team.
How can we get the clarification why our documents are not accepted when everything we provided meet the requirements? Is there a specific team, phone number, or email we can reach? The email kyc-drtax-verification@amazon.co.uk does not seem to respond to any of our inquiries.
Thanks for your help!
Crystal
@Julia_CAM I see in the discussions that you helped a few other sellers. Can you please help us? Thanks!
Hello Coastal_WY,
I think, from your use of US dating convention that you are not in the UK
As I understand it, that means you are due to pay Amazon UK VAT on all your Amazon sales into the UK since 1/1/2021
Perhaps I've misunderstood?
All Best
