ODR affected by Amazon bought shipping labels

I have read that labels purchased on time via Amazon Shipping should not affect your ODR if a claim is made regarding delayed delivery or non receipt. However, I have had 4x A-Z claims in about a month, and my ODR is now >3%. All these orders were purchased via Amazon and dispatched on time, even one of them actually shows as delivered on time too!

I changed to buying via Amazon to avoid my VTR being affected as I mostly send 2nd class, but now I'm seeing an increase in items not arriving on time. Starting to feel impossible, I don't have any of these issues with eBay. Should my ODR be affected by orders sent via Amazon shipping?

No they should not.

Appeal the A2Z itself. Choose the option that you have fullfilled your responsibilities and you can they choose that you used Buy Shipping. In the info box highlight ODR is protected when using Buy Shipping so please reverse the ODR decision in line with Amazon policy. Not lost one yet.

We've had the same. We raised a case with customer support and quoted their own policy about Amazon bought shipping not affecting the ODR. On each occasion it was removed within a day. As for the one where the tracking shows as delivered on time, do as TBC_Lee suggests and appeal the A-Z showing evidence of delivery. Amazon may reverse the refund. This is less of a certainty as the forums show!

This used to be common - and the reason I stopped purchasing my labels via Amazon Shipping and now only use the Royal Mail portal.

Appeals etc to Amazon were mostly ignored by Support - even copying their own policy and sending relevant links. At one point I was actually told by Support that the policy clause that it covered 'all problems with delivery' and metrics would not be affected meant it did not cover items lost only delayed !

Admittedly this was a couple of years ago and I see from other responses things may have now changed, as well it should, and I hope things go well for your appeals. Post back the outcome please.

Ona a side note: Since changing to using the Royal Mail portal claims for non-delivery and late delivery definitely decreased. It may just be a coincidence of course but there was a definite decease.
