Meltable Inventory
Hello sellers!
It has already been in the 80s here in Arizona so meltable inventory is on the mind. It's time to start planning for the summer months. Removal orders for meltable inventory must be submitted before April 15 of each year. Meltable inventory stored or arriving at our fulfillment centers from April 15 to October 15 is marked unfulfillable and disposed of for a fee.
Products in Amazon fulfillment centers must meet quality standards during the summer months or temperatures between 75 to 155 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you believe your product should be exempt from the meltable category, send a letter from the manufacturer to Selling Partner Support. The letter must be written on manufacturer letterhead, and must include the following information:
- Specific products and/or ASINs
- Explicit confirmation that the ASIN or ASINs can be stored at a maximum temperature of 155 degrees Fahrenheit for extended periods
- Point of contact for verification

Where is the information about WHEN the list of meltable ASINs was updated? Today it has 35k entries, so it's not trivial to "scan" through the list and/or download daily.

There are two ways to check whether an ASIN is included in the meltable ASIN list.
You need to download the lists from the Seller-Fulfilled Meltable Product Policy and Meltable FBA Inventory pages. However, the problem is that the lists are different—one contains more ASINs and hasn't been updated since March 12.
So which list should I trust?
