Returns postage cost
Hi All. I’ve just had a customer complaining that they have to pay £2.75 to get their Hermes label for a return. I thought that customers now get a label to print off and we get charged £3.30 and can then claim that back on the refund dependant on return reason. I told them to contact Amazon customer service but all customer service was send me the standard email telling me to send a return label, I thought this was the old method Has anyone else had this?
Cheers

What are they returning? and what reason are they returning?
Have they raised a return via system or via message? If via message the return system will not know about the return so will not issue a label for them to print.

The order isn’t in my returns so I’m guessing she hasn’t gone through the returns procedure. I have had a message from CS but that was the standard template they used to send. It had the reason as Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Item yet it’s being returned for being too small. I think that it might be a customer who is not familiar with the returns process being helped by the ever competent CS who I imagine are as good as our SS. As to how she has managed to get any Hermes label without going through the returns procedure I’m at a loss.
