257 products switched off due to VTR
Hey, can someone please shed on light on VTR?
We have 257 products switched off due to low VTR - but we’ve sent every single order in the last 2 months signed for 1st class with royal mail (we use a franking machine). I’ve gone into the last 20 orders sent & everyone of them is showing as delivered and signed for.
My VTR is 49% - I don’t understand how. I’ve spoken to amazon on the phone, live chat & email. They just keep asking me the same questions “how are you going to improve” etc.
Does anyone else have this issue? They wont turn my products back on & every day I notice a new category is turned off lately.
Thank you
Toni

Where have you been for the last 8 months lol
What did you mark them as despatched as on amazon?
Have you downloaded your vtr report to see what your invalid orders are ?
Presumably as its only been a recent change, there maybe old orders causing the issue ?!

So on the report how have you marked the ones that are showing as dispatched?

Oh dear - how have you missed all the thousands of posts about VTR ?
We are ALL affected by this new metric.
Speaking to Seller Supportwill get you nowhere as many of them do not understand the policy, and have repeatedly given out wrong info and advice.
The important thing is how are you sending and how are you confirming shipment ?
I see you have a franking machine, so when you confirm shipment you need to choose Royal Mail from the first dropdown, and Stamps/Franking from the second.

I have been orders which go into an envelope as ‘Stamps/Franked’ and my VTR i also decreasing.
I also use DPD & DX Couriers for larger orders, adding tracking number and they are still being flagged by Amazon as not VTR!!

my VTR dropped to about 80% at first but i’m now back to 100%. I either send everything as Royal mail tracked 24/48 or Hermes which is also tracked. On the smaller cheaper items that I still want to send standard 2nd class Royal Mail, I buy postage from amazon and they get through the VTR ok!

The problem is that Amazon system sometimes does not recognize the tracking number as valid. I’ve just spent six weeks waiting for four to fall off my tally, all were scanned at post office and delivered but they refused to accept they were valid numbers, all marked correctly and sent signed for franked. For the difference in cost you are better using buy postage and that avoids this problem.
Be prepared as it will drop further before it gets better. Mine went as low as 13% before rising back up to 100%

I think quite a few of us are going through this, after 15 years of selling on Amazon they have deactivated all our listings due to VTR, everything was sent via first class royal mail post and the tracking ID above the 2d barcode was entered and still the VTR was flagged, after several phone calls, emails, appeals, I still have had no response from Amazon, after speaking to someone on the phone I have learned this is due to the mass deactivation of listings of many accounts and appeals.

How fast is your ZD printer printing the Royal Mail lables. it needs to be at 50% or they cannot scan the barcode on a lot of them and label and wont count as valid. We had the same issue -

We have the same problem. we only sell low price items so use stamps/franking machine. they have done the same, switched all our listings off, i think this is a ploy as usual with Amazon to switch to FBA, but we simply cant affird to, we are only a small business and dont stock the quantity required to do FBA.
