Also cannot delete the listing in other marketplaces along with the reviews with it.

So if some translation or shipping issue occurs you've destroyed your UK ASIN.

If you want sellers to expand, you give sellers some control of their livelihood.

Cannot respond to reviews

Cannot delete listing in other marketplaces

Cannot get negative reviews removed due to FBA shipping errors.

So no, I will not list in European stores.

I spotted this a week or so ago. Got opted out by filling in the form.

A day or so later I started getting calls from a UK agent for Amazon pushing EU expansion.

On every 24 hours just enter on other shops and mostly in Germany to remove the listings... because they always list them without our permissions... NO COMMENT !

I've opted out at least half a dozen times - seems that they keep opting me in to this pan european listing nonsense, even though I do not ship outside of the UK.

What's annoying is that they auto opt you in - rather than you opting in yourself.

I've no issue with EU expansion (PAN EU), I've a *massive* issue with the wheeze that's a €60 brokerage fee for every shipment I send to the EU.

€60 for one parcel? Nopety nope nope - not ever.

Ok, to get around this, I could potentially send more than one carton per shipment, but if I send too many cartons, then that depletes my stock locally (meaning I have to have a larger inventory holding)

In these days of automation (which Amazon excel at), it's breathtaking that they think smaller seller would sign up to that kind of charge per shipment.
