Any way to handle "unreturnable" returns?

I have had this happen a few times - a customer orders an item and it gets "return" status - eventually goes to "return not expected" and its a 50/50 if it will get reinbursed. Seller central claims some items are unreturnable, meaning they don't get reinbursed, but multiple offending asins have been reinbursed before, at this point it seems random.

I put up with this until someone has started ordering 10x of "unreturnable" products and is refunding them, and its leaving me out of pocket quite badly. One order of 10 items - "Return not expected" on the lot. These are sealed items.

I'm at a loss of how to combat this, but I can't keep giving stock away for free, amazon surely can't believe someone is ordering 10 boxes of something and thinks its reasonable to refund in this situation.

I'm aware of the 30/45/60 day rules with waiting for reinbursements.
