"Hazardous Goods" and "Commingled" Warnings!

Hello guys!

On 11th of June my manufacturer will finish the mass production for my goods.
Today, I tried to create a shipping plan for my product, in order to create the shipping labels and fba labels.
When trying to do so, these two warnings popped out:

1)“Hazardous Material (Hazmat)
This product is regulated as dangerous goods (Hazmat), and you are not approved to sell dangerous goods via the FBA Dangerous Goods programme. For more information, see [Dangerous goods identification guide ]”

2)“Cannot be stickerless, commingled
This product is ineligible to send to Amazon using a manufacturer barcode. Please remove the product from the shipment and follow the [steps here”

Okay, so…few things here I would really appreciate some support with:

In the first warning…my product is classified as “Hazmat” even if it does only contain a small 45 grams lithium-ion battery with 0.54 grams lithium content and 6.66 watt hours.
I understand…I uploaded the required documents, also I left a google drive link in there with my SDS(Safety Data Sheet) of the battery from my manufacturer. That should be enough, right?
Amazon says, I will get a reply in next 4 days.
Questions: Does anyone been in this situation before? How does usually Amazon handles this and what could be the risks here for my listing? I am not even sure if I need a special label for such a small battery?

Secondly…I literally got no clue what the second warning is about?
I never intended to send in stickerless inventory.
I actually created the packaging label for each product the other day and I send them over to my supplier to put them on.
Q: How does this affect my ability to send inventory in or sell on Amazon?
Is there a way I could get around this?

Sorry for the long text guys  ! Brand new seller here…confusion level 1000!

Thanks for everything!

Regards
Fabian

Hi there,

Once your hazmat goods have been cleared you will automatically be able to print the labels from the manage inventory tab. right click on the edit tab and then print label and then you can choose how many you want and they will send to your email address then you send it to the manufacture to stick on every unit which is part of your inventory.

What label exactly have you created?

I think you have sent the manufacturer your FNSKU labels to print direct on the product whilst telling Amazon that you are using the manufacturer barcode - you’re not.

Hope that makes sense and I’ve gotten it right.

It’s not actually complicated. I quite understand now.
So once I change the label using that link you provided, Amazon should realise that I send the right barcodes and let me send inventory in?

Or the “hazmat” warning will still be there?

Hey, thanks a lot for your help, both of you!

And you tried to list it before and because of the lithium-ion batteries you couldn’t?

What difficulties you encountered with it?

Fair enough! And to be honest I’d I would have know at first, maybe I would have think twice before I source this product. :upside_down_face:

I’ll try to change the label tomorrow and see how it goes from there!

Thank you once more!

It is the fact that you are looking to “work around” the Dangerous Goods aspect of Lithium Batteries that is causing an issue here. They are classified as Dangerous because they can spontaneously catch fire and that can kill people, think aircraft in flight, burning warehouses etc and it is time people took these things more seriously. Any movement of these should be done correctly (packing, labelling, movement and disposal). Remember that any profit you will ever make on every single shipment you ever did, and more will be taken away with potentially uninsured lawsuits in the event of an incident, just saying.

Thank you so much for your advice!

Can I ask you if you got any idea if my shipment of 1000pcs will be accepted as “individual packed” and not “cases packed”?
Each box weigh 21 kg

Thanks!
