Product authenticity customer complaint for a 10p coin

This is not the first time it has happened to me and unresolved previously.
I am a coin collector who sells coins. I sell coins with a face value of 10p minted by the Royal Mint and readily available to children collectors who have a Royal Mint Collectors Album and fill them with 10p coins bearing each letter of the alphabet. I have 2 authenticity complaints on the same day and both listings removed. Just think. If you had all the thousand pounds worth of machinery needed to make fake coins would you waste your time forging 10p Coins. I do not think so. The metal would cost more than 10p. However Amazon tend to believe the customer and each time it happens in spite of documentation etc. The listings remain blocked. My total profit is £1.20 but I sell a lot. Any advice apart from stop selling them. It damages my account health.

These Product Condition Customer Complaints are normally detected by bots after scanning through your Seller Feedbacks, Product Reviews, returns or A-Z claim comments. Amazon doesn’t actually think whether they are legit or not.

Once you receive a complaint and Amazon requests you to provide additional information - such as a Plan of Action, invoices, documents or certificates, there is nothing you can do but comply.

Unfortunately, unless you supply Amazon everything they asked for, your listing will remain blocked and any additional complaints could possibly cause your entire account to get deactivated.

Hi @Rubyring,

Arthur here to assist.

Based on my observations, I want to help guide you in the right direction moving forward.

With each complaint you received, have you appealed by providing invoices/proof of purchase documentation to verify authenticity? Generally, we ask for documentation in order to double check where you source your inventory, while obtaining a better understanding of your business operations.

Is there any particular reason why buyers are voicing their concerns about the authenticity of your coins? Is the product detail page for each listing accurate? Are you adhering to Amazon policy regarding the quality and condition of your listings?

What have you done so far to prove this to us? You need to detail how you have addressed the concerns in your account. Keep the buyer experience in mind as you review your methods and procedures.

Please provide updates in this topic so the forums community and I can continue to provide insight.
Has anything changed since the last time you replied here?

I look forward to hearing from you,
Arthur

I don’t see how anyone could prove a 10p coin was a fake without physically examining it. The idea of needing ‘invoices’ to prove that coin of the realm is genuine seems a tad bizarre!
If it was really necessary, every shop in the land that handles change would go out of business.
