New seller account/brand nightmare

Hello

I am trying to start a new business seller account and can not seem to get going. I have provided amazon with all documentation requested and had a security video call etc… but they keep asking for the same info over and over… I have a UK registered LTD company so its not that hard to verify, they have my passport, driving license (3 times they asked for this and each time accept it and then ask again), business bank account details, personal credit card details, personal bank account details, letter of authority from my own business giving my permission… I am easily verifiable UK citizen from birth I just don’t understand why they are making it so impossible.
What more can I do? Oh and they were easily able to take their first payment for my seller account, that was no problem at all…

Also they won’t accept my brand to be registered, I have provided my UK IPO certificate so easy to confirm, photos of my products labeled with our brand logo clearly shown and on a table (we are the manufacturer) they have a link to our website and online shop and again all of my own personal information and it was refused… it gave the reason the name 'The Pet Guru" does not match the logo on the products which reads “The Pet Guru”

I got on chat and no one can help, I get told the teams dealing with this are not contactable, no phone options no support nothing. is this honestly what the great amazon selling platform is?

are amazon not taking on new sellers and brands right now?

You must have signed up for the professional selling plan (££0 a month), that is not a payment to have a seller account - there is no set charge for a seller account, just two different types of plan you can choose.
The Professional plan - which does give you a few extra tools and benefits, and the Individual plan, where you pay an extra small fee (90p) per sale rather than a monthly fee.
You can downgrade the plan so that you do not pay any more fees until your account is fully verified and active, so might be worth doing that.
Go to Settings (cog wheel top right) - Account Info - Your Services - Manage, and downgrade.
You can then request a refund of the unused fee by opening a case with Seller Support - Help.

The post from Russ has hit the nail on the head - even getting started with Amazon is a convoluted task, these days.
