The truth about Amazon?
We learn everything we need to know right here on the forums
Seller_f5cnodyVjLD4S
Well that documentary didn’t do Amazon any favours, or 3PS for that matter…

So was this the hatchet job I expected it to be on the worlds most evil organisation?
Seller_f5cnodyVjLD4S
There was however a brief mention of Amazon unfairly competing against it’s sellers with information gleened about suppliers and also the EU investigation into this and other concerns.

I didn’t watch it but from what you are saying it looks like a journalist got onto the forums and made up a nice story about Amazon. I don’t trust any media or news outputs to tell the truth these days they all just manipulate it to half truths to meet their agenda. And as for the Biased Broadcasting Company don’t get me started.

There’s a caveat here. Whilst I’m not trying to defend Amazon in any shape or form here, the way television programmes are ‘edited’ often creates bias, one way or the other. After all, if it was all good stuff they wouldn’t bother showing it.

Personally I find it quite ironic half the comments on this thread being that as sellers you are cogs in the great Amazon machine and that whatever is thrown up against Amazon is equally thrown at you lol

Is it a documentry?
A comedy?
A horror story maybe?

I think ‘The Truth About Amazon’ is that the public don’t give a monkey’s chuff. All they want is the the right goods at the right price and Amazon to deliver them the next day (usually). What’s that old saying, "any publicity is good publicity". Horror stories never did Mary Shelley any harm and neither will they harm Amazon.

Interesting article on https://qz.com/1841031/coronavirus-secures-amazons-jeff-bezos-as-worlds-richest-person/
In particular “Jeff Bezos, CEO and founder of Amazon, saw his wealth grow by $24 billion since the world’s been largely in shutdown”
