Incorrectly accepted a policy violation

Hi,
We had 4 ASINs that had breached a Policy.
After updating the ASIN, I then went back to the Account Compliance, and INCORRECTLY acknowledged the policy violation… when I was supposed to appeal it.

I genuinely believed I was appealing it - I clicked “Appeal”.

Now Amazon will not reactivate the ASINS.
I spoke to Account Health and Seller Support.

They can only tell me to create new ASINS.
But then we will lose all the review and subscribe and save customers!

Has anyone got any experience in this?
We have been building up these listings for 1 year, and now to have all reviews and subscribe customers removed is such a loss for us!

I suppose my question would then be:

  1. Can we transfer the existing reviews and subscriptions to the new ASIN?
  2. Is there a way to bring this ASIN back to life (some way that the Seller Support and Account Health teams that I spoke to are not aware of?)

Ok, I can guarantee that you have not spoken to anyone in account health. You will only have spoken to people in support.
You need to appeal the performance notification and the only way to do that, is normally via the account health page. There is however a couple of email address that you can use, which you will find with a search on the forums.

What exactly is the violation?

You cannot transfer reviews etc to a new ASIN.
You also cannot create a new ASIN, irrespective of what support has told you.
To do so, is violating Amazon rules. You cannot create a copy basically.

This item has been identified as making unauthorised medicinal claims or presentations in reference to the treatment of Cardiovascular diseases, and is therefore not approved for sale on [Amazon.co.uk]

But we removed the reference to Cardiovascular.
The problem was that somehow instead of “appealing”, we “acknowledged” the violation.

It was just 1 sentence we had to remove from the Listing… it took me 1 min.
And btw, the listings had been like that for 1 year!
