Getting Error 5461, just want to add my offer not edit the listing

Getting Error 5461, just want to add my offer not edit the listing

I'm getting a 5461 error when I attempt to add inventory to an existing ASIN. I do not want to create a new listing nor do I want to update the listing. I simply want to add my offering to the listing. The system is assuming I'm making listing updates. The error should not apply to what I'm trying to achieve.

My name is Dominic from Amazon, happy to help you with this! I took a look at your account and I can see we haven't created any cases yet for this issue. I would start with cutting a ticket with Seller Support letting them know the issue to see if they can fix this for you. The system shouldn't be thinking you are creating a new listing if you just want to add your offering to the listing. This video does have some good information on Error 5461, but not sure if it will be able to solve your issue versus Seller Support. "Error 5461"

If Seller Support has been unable to help you solve your issue by the end of the week please provide me the Case ID at that time and I can try to troubleshoot on my end.
