"Inaccurate website description" as a return reason for an order that is still on the way
Hi,
What is a FAIR solution to this?
A buyer opened a return request for an order that was shipped internationally ( the package was shipped 2 days ago and is still on the way) and chose as a return reason "Inaccurate website description".
To pay for an international return label will be more than the item cost, so it is not an option.
Refunding and letting the dishonest buyer keep the item? It doesn't sound quite right, does it?
Authorizing the request without a paid return label? She will then complain to Amazon, and they will issue a refund.
Closing the request?
Help!
Thanx

This.
If you used an Amazon label, you should be able to submit a SAFE T claim if and when they get a refund from Amazon. Do not refund yourself without receiving the item back to you.

I have never provided a paid return label for any return, I always click the "authorize without paid return" and then credit them some for shipping when I process the return when it arrives.
As a side question though, which country? I didn't even know you could get FBM orders from other countries on Amazon!

Hello @Seller_mXw2xtvh0ZPWw,
Appreciate you being a part of this community and taking the time to post your question here.
Question for you, Did you use Buy Shipping services ? I the meantime I suggest you communicate with the buyer via buyer-seller messaging the idea is not to ignore the buyer/customer.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
