How to sell multi pack of the same product?
Hi,
I am selling my own product in the Health and Beauty section, have an EAN13 barcode for the Product ID and have been assigned an ASIN number.
I have seen other sellers having those nice boxes with Pack of 1 Pack of 2 Pack of 4… As you click on it, it changes the price…
I would also like to sell it as a pack of 2. After hours of reading and watching videos I am none the wiser.
I thought the “logical” way would be to “Copy listing” from the inventory page, change the “Package quantity” to 2 and “Number of Items” to 2 on the More details tab but then it is asking me to enter the Product ID so I am totally lost.
Could someone help me out?
Thanks

You need to add variations (via edit) to the original ASIN, that way you will not need new EANs.

Variations are not available under Health and Beauty so that doesn’t work unfortunately. I have extra EAN’s but I would like to have the pack of 1, pack of 2… on the same page so customers can pick the Pack quantity they want on the same page.

Close, you need to set the “number of items” to 1, “package Quantity” to 2 and set the EAN the same as the single item.
For reference I believe “number of items” is for indicating you will be sending 1 item out in 2 parts (i.e. flatpack furniture that comes in 2 boxes)
You can create a variation at any point, the only time you can’t add a variation to an existing ASIN is when another seller has added a parent SKU with no other children, although even then this is against Amazon’s ASIN creation policy and they will delete the parent if requested.
