Small and Light not shipping to the Shetland Islands
Has anyone had an issue where a customer cannot ship an FBA item to the Highlands/Islands?
I have just has a customer message me that they are not being allowed to have an item delivered to the Shetland Islands. This is a small and light item so it is not a size or weight issue.
Also they have purchased and shipped there with no issues before on the 24th August. Is this a weekend thing? Or has Amazon changed their policies?

If you posted the ASIN, other sellers would be able to check it’s availability for shipping.
Have you tried inserting a Shetland Islands post code when browsing as a buyer to see if Amazon ships there?

ASIN is B01N91EWZ6
I’ll try putting in the postcode on my buying account.

I’ve just tried it and setting the address on the product page like that, for me, shows and adds the non-prime listing to the basket which is fine. But if you add the prime to your basket and then change the address in the checkout pages then this error is shown.

This must be a recent thing as I have checked and this customer ordered the exact same SnL product to the exact same address last month.
All I can think is that it depends on which warehouse the stock is? If it is not close by then this happens.

That would be great if @Jessica or someone from management could clarify. SS just stated that the listing was setup correctly and that if a customer had an issue they should contact customer support.
This doesn’t answer my concerns though, why are sales potentially being lost like this. I can’t find any mention of Highlands/Islands no longer being supported for SnL.
Luckily in this case the customer contacted me and I could point them to the FBM option. Something the system doesn’t do automatically.
