Verification failed after set up
Hi All,
Just wondering if anybody had been through a similar situation. We’ve just set up a seller account and 24hrs later we received this. I’ve opened a case requesting more detail with what we need to provide and where to upload said documents.
"Dear Seller,
We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.
Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account"
Now, we are already set up with a vendor account so I am wondering if this is causing the issue? The reason we’re moving to seller central is because Amazon aren’t purchasing as much anymore. The contact details and beneficiary owner are exactly the same and so should have already been verified with vendor central.
The annoying thing is they charged me for the seller account then deactivated immediately afterwards. I would have thought if the verification failed they’d at least wait till I resolved the issue before charging me…
Cheers

Hi it is common for deactivation for new sellers - I would always suggest you do your research prior - so in your instance it looks to be relating to your payment method used some bank accounts will be accepted personally I advise credit card seem to be easier to be accepted.
You need to have a minimum of £5 in the account your using and it is unlikely to be accepted if not a main stream bank so the likes of tide etc. would not be sufficient.
You will be able to go ahead and rectify the issue in account info then reply to your case.
