A buyer purchased a £130 item from me through FBM. I sent it with buy shipping, RMSD.

Right after reveiving it, they started a return saying 'box was empty???'

So this is looking like a fraudulent buyer and I'm now expecting an empty box to arrive in the post.

I have spoken to AMZ SS, I was told to open a SAFE-T claim now but it won't let me because 'Seller needs to be debited to be eligible to file SAFE-T claim.' - I'm not sure what this means. I'm also not even sure if SAFE-T claims are possible for FBM orders.

I'll film myself opening the empty box from the customer - perhaps that could help in the inevitable A to Z claim if I can find a way to include the video there somehow.

Other than that, does anyone have any advice?

I recently had a buyer return an item worth £240, but when I received the return today, the package was completely empty.

I originally shipped the item in a box because the item is electrical , but the buyer returned it in a padded envelope.

The flap was open upon arrival, meaning the item could have been removed in transit.

The return weight was 373g, which is close to the expected weight, but the actual contents were missing.

I have taken photos as evidence, showing the open mailer and return label.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What’s the best way to fight this kind of fraudulent return? Im worried as this is alot of money.

I'm looking to send my first order in to Amazon warehouse. I am just wondering if I can package my individual items in padded mailing bags rather than boxes. Will this be accepted?
