Why the £30 carryover fee?
Hi I’m a new seller. I opened my account and registered my card. I haven’t sold or posted any products, but I already have a statement for a £30 carryover fee. What is a carryover fee. I read somewhere that amazon don’t charge new sellers for the first month! Please help:(

It looks like you opted for a professional selling plan @ £30 month, rather than an invidual account with no monthly fee, it’s only worth paying the pro-merchant fee if you are selling over 34 items month.
You can downgrade and stop paying the £30 month from your ‘Account info’ page and selling plan.
If you then contact Amazon CS and advise you made a mistake and have not sold any items, they may refund the charge?

The monthly subscription fee which you are referring to is part of the standard Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement to which you agreed when you created your Professional Selling Plan account.
Your payment method on file will keep getting charged unless you downgrade your Seller Account into Individual, regardless of it’s status or whether you are actively selling.
I am afraid there are currently no promotions offering sellers a Professional Selling Plan registration without the monthly fee.
Here you can downgrade the account to prevent it from being charged again:
and then, as long as you haven’t sold anything and your account is in a good standing, open a case with the Seller Support, requesting to have any prior subscription fees refunded, using this link:
