We are likely to not get a collection today as we are snowed in completely, living atop a rural hill with no roads gritted.
We are SFP and this will inevitably lead to a POA request - what would a valid excuse be as I know that Amazon accept no excuses?

If Amazon will accept it as a reason the cause is "force majeure". That's what we will be going with along with attaching images of an impassable road network
"Force majeure" - unforeseeable circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.
It was hardly unforeseeable though. I wish you the best of luck in any case.
Oh I am sure you will appreciate this. We had no snow at our location, but Amazon collect under SFP and didnt turn up.
Just a few weeks back, when Amazon themselves failed to collect, we got told to submit a plan of action as to why they had failed to collect !
I joke not
Start preparing your Plan of Action submission now, so you don't end up sending a sarcastic one that won't help. When our town flooded a few years ago at Christmas I, er, didn't.
Daily checks with the Environment agency, weather reports, pre-emptively adjusting despatch times, general prostration, first born etc was the final answer. You know, everything that AZ themselves don't do......
If you have an account manager with Royal Mail they are usually very good at providing a letter to say that it was not possible for their staff to collect. We've had to do this when there's been localised flooding.
Good Luck.
Hi. Or do like I have done , and put all listings on inactive,
to save any Amz problems !
