AMAZON lost INVENTORY & REFUNDS CUSTOMER
I recently received a notification on a customer wanting to return a few items. Today is 2/12/24, unfortunately the customer ordered this on 1/12/24. The shipping was through amazon ground shipping and has since been picked up by amazon ground shipping(amazon truck came to the designated pick up area). The item never reached the customer door step. According to the tracking number AMAZON still has the package. I contacted amazon and address this situation to them thoroughly and They are still no help to this. Amazon lost my inventory and refunded the customer full cost and never gave me a update on my items being returned to me or anything. I filed a claim and they denied me within 2 minutes of me sending in the claim. This is insane on how amazon treats it sellers with no sympathy or care to at least help. Please help me this seems to be a constant thing with amazon.

Hi @Seller_FGJkOmUCrNdYo,
Can you tell me more about this order? I'd like to get a little more context on what might have happened here.
Was it shipped FBA or MFN? Did the buyer request a refund through the normal returns process? Or did they file an A-to-Z claim?
If the buyer requested a refund through an A-to-Z claim, you can appeal the claim through process laid out here.
If the buyer requested a refund through a normal returns process, go ahead and provide me with the order ID so I can take a closer look then we can decide on next steps together.
