Can you take legal action against a fraudulent buyer
There have been several posts about taking legal action against fraudulent buyers.
One of the pieces of advice given by posters is that it is in Amazon’s T&Cs that the seller may lose his account if he does take legal action.
I personally believe that Amazon would not do this and that there would be uproar if sellers started losing their accounts.
I would love for Jessica or one of the other mods to comment on this.
Does any seller have personal experience of losing their account or having had a warning. Alternatively does anyone have experience of taking legal action.

we have done it and taken Amazon themselves to court!(well issued them a summons, so they paid up).
As per the T&C’s you may lose your account, yet they can not stop you taking legal action.
We regularly report buyers to the police also. Not sure if Amazon would want the Negative press over banning sellers for taking legal action to recover what is legally theirs.

I do think that the fear of Amazon sanctions prevent a lot of people following up on fraudulent buyers.
