Return for large item
Customer is claiming item not as described. Upon investigation they wanted a darker shade of burgundy. It is as described. Usually I just take the hit but I will another £12 on postage if I also cover return.
What is the best way to handle?

If the discription does not meet the actual product your obligation is to return as should not have been sent.
If its customer error you don’t have to pay return but bare in mind the likely feedback and possible a-z

“Change of mind”, so customer pays return postage, rather than “Not as described” surely. Photos of colours on catalogue listings are not going to be absolutely true to life
