As per previous years Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime will be expecting sellers who operate on a Sunday to despatch as normal on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday is not technically a public holiday - it was never fixed as such when Sunday started being a working day for many.
As this normally takes several months to fix - can we please have the assistance of the forum admin team in getting Sunday 20th April added to the list of non-operational days.
this was discussed and fixed last year for 2024 but has not been fixed yet for 2025

Some Sellers may wish to work on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday. So at least it should be an option to not work if required.
Have you checked to see if DPD, Evri, Amazon Shipping and Royal Mail are working on either or both days?
For Example, as long as DPD work on Easter Sunday, and collect parcels. Then Sellers should work if possible, otherwise, a Buyer that orders on Thursday after say 3pm cut-off time, won't get the parcel shipped until the following Tuesday and then hopefully with all the back-logs be with them on Wednesday, so nearly a week to get their order.
Whereas, if working on Easter Sunday: Buyer orders after cut off on Thursday, up to Sunday cut-off time and it goes out on Sunday, and delivery on Tuesday, still ages, but a day faster.
Some altered their Priime shipping day from Sunday to Saturday, which you can do yourself for that week, then Buyer orders after cut off on Thursday, up to SATURDAY cut-off time and it goes out on SATURDAY, and delivery on Sunday if using Royal Mail (and maybe the others, but not guaranteed), which is quite a lot faster. Then after cut-off on Saturday, those parcels go out on Tuesday, for Wednesday delivery (hopefully).
If altering the day, you need to ask the courier if they can action a collection for that 1 Saturday, or if they will accept a drop-off at their Mail Centre / Depot instead, which most at least agree to the latter.
I think the problem is that prior to August 1994 and the Sunday Trading Act (which then allowed large shops to trade on a Sunday for 6 hours)
Parliament at the time failed to place Easter Sunday as a public holiday but just set the law preventing large shops from opening to trade on Easter Sunday. They should have set it as a public holiday and also set the law to prevent large shops from trading.
Previous years @Julia_Amzn has been able to get the Easter Sunday marked as a non-operational day and then sellers who wish to operate can opt-in.
if Amazon set it to a non-operational day - seller's who wish to operate as normal can still opt in (in the same way Bank Holiday's can be opted in on)
Correct @Seller_Nprc5XWvdLYk9. I am working with my colleagues to enable this option in 2025 as well. I will keep you informed.
Ah ok.
@Julia_Amzn (Need to show no collection on Easter Sunday).
DPD have now clarified, that they will NOT be working on:
18/4/25 - Good Friday.
20/4/25 - Easter Sunday.
21/4/25 - Bank Holiday Monday.
They WILL be working on 19/4/25 Easter Saturday, and anyone can request that they collect on the saturday, rather than the Sunday, by contacting Seller Onboarding.
= =
Royal Mail do not collect on Sundays.
R< will NOT be working on:
18/4/25 - Good Friday.
20/4/25 - Easter Sunday.
21/4/25 - Bank Holiday Monday.
They WILL be working on 19/4/25 Easter Saturday, and anyone can request if they can drop off at their local Mail Centre.
It is unclear if they will be delivering on Easter Sunday, or not.

Evri have not said what they are doing, but they do not collect on a Sunday anyway.

Amazon own Courier, anyone else know, as they do not collect from us
Last year I changed my shipping settings for the easter weekend. I moved from a Sunday collection to a Saturday collection. DPD collected on the Saturday and all was good.
I am certain that if Amazon expect collections on Easter Sunday, even if the carrier that amazon tell us to use, does not work on that day there will be a performance drop issue.
History tells me that no matter the reason for the performance drop (assuming it drops below the target %) Amazon will suspend the Prime badge (not the selling account just the selling privileges of prime) until the seller proves this is a carrier/Amazon issue. That normally takes 4/5 days even if a case is opened before the performance drop notification is sent.
I speak from bitter experience.
