3d rendering image
Hi everyone. Amazon’s policy is to use real product images for the main picture. But I have seen many sellers is using 3D RENDERING IMAGES. That means can we do it as long as it is a realistic 3d rendering image of the product?

No. There are lots of things that lots of sellers do that isn’t allowed.

Generally product detail pages are very rarely created by Amazon, they are created by sellers/suppliers then Amazon lists against that ASIN at a later time. Amazon don’t do thorough checks of the ASINs they list against, if their bots don’t detect an issue then the ASIN is “OK” until their bots are upgraded and start to notice more issues.
Around 5 years ago we listed a 4-pack of glasses and an 8-pack of the same glasses, both in the same variation. Around 18 months ago (the same week the lockdown started in the UK to be precise), Amazon suspended our account (and it took 12 weeks to get reinstated) because there’s a rule that says that you can’t have multiple pack sizes in the same variation, unless the manufacturer themselves created the ASINs.
It took Amazon almost 4 years to identify that these ASINs had a problem… but it could just as easily have taken them a day, a week, a month, etc.
By breaking Amazon’s rules you’re basically playing a ticking bomb, ready to suspend your account at any time. Yes, you might get away with it for years or you might end up in a situation where you lose the account and have little-to-no hope of appealing the suspension.

I have looked at your listing and I don’t see an issue with your pictures ?!
