Launched a new vitamin D product, Vine customers say price too high
Hi
So I launched a new Vitamin D3 + K2 supplement and am selling it at £12.99 a bottle for 120.
There are other sellers at this price point, but many others at the £7 to £10 range too.
So I decided to join the Amazon Vine program and the feedback has been for 95% of the reviews that the price is too high.
However I am running promotions like buy 1, get 1 half price or even buy 1 get 1 free.
So I was wondering, as a new product is the best strategy to start at the lowest price?
Or stick to me price and add A+ content to try and help customers understand a bit more about the product?
Regards
B

some customers are purely going on price unfortunately and therefore it comes down to your profit margins
If you can afford to sell it for buy 1 get 1 free, can you afford to list it at half price or does that affect postage price etc (usually you can post 2 items together cheaper than 2 separate items)
