Fab fees, how to save?
Guys I don’t understand how Amazon workouts the fees. One of my products has a bigger box but 0.3kg lighter than another which has a small bock but heavier. Yet the smaller box fees are 50p more. This is a huge difference. How do Amazon calculate this as there’s no where about inputting weight. Any tips on how to reduce fba fees after their increase this year?

you should’ve input the dimensions and weight of your products when you created the listings
are both in the same category ?
have you checked the dimensions and weight on the listings ?
weight will of course make a difference to the fee
nope - you need to increase your selling price if you are not making enough money
oh and just to note that they are adding the fuel surcharge next week too

The FBA fee is based on a combination of size and weight. It’s possible for a smaller box that is heavier to be more expensive than a larger box. If you look at something like the standard parcel band which is less than 45 X 34 X 26 cm, then the actual size of your package may not be relevant.
