EAN does not match product
Trying to add some new products put the EAN ID number in and a message keeps popping up
‘‘SKU does not match any ASIN and the product data provided is not eligible for ASIN creation’’
‘‘There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU’’
I have listed several .products before this with no problems i must of spent several hours at this now and it is driving me mad.
Will it be easer to register as a brand and how much will that cost. Thanks in advance.

EAN and sku are two different things and the message you are receiving seems to relate to sku
Are you entering your own sku or are you allowing amazon to populate that field ?
If your own, have you duplicated it by accident ?

They may work for a short while but eventually the listing will get pulled, it is better to build your listing on solid ground or you may find yourself in the position of the OP in this thread:

I’m having a similar problem. It’s saying the EANs don’t match the products I’m trying to list. The EANs have been brought from GS1. They were listed on GS1 last Wednesday and they are still not working. Any ideas?
