Downgraded Account Type - Amazon Refunded Me But Money Still Placed In Reserve

Can somebody advice please, Amazon have not at all been helping me with this besides copy / pasting template responses. Long story short I downgraded my account from Professional type to Individual type. Amazon issued me a refund - however this amount is still being held in reserve, and it’s been over a month now. They claim this is to cover potential buyer issues, but no buyers were involved in this transaction?
ps. I have thus far never been paid by Amazon as started selling a month and a half ago only

Seller accounts set up after August 2016 (I think, someone may well correct me) always have reserves on their seller account - this will always be the case. Search for “unavailable balance” and/or “when will I get paid” in seller help and it explains why.
