Account deactivated and fund held for over 2 years

Hi,

I was selling products on amazon via my United Kingdom seller account. It was deactivated and I tried submitting an appeal which was unsuccessful. I submitted the documents which was required from me but it kept on getting sent back to me. I then gave up on trying to reactivate the account and just wanted for the funds in my account to be released to me. I contacted the disbursement team and was told I need to schedule an video call to verify my documents. I attended the video call in January 2024 and was told that I would hear back within 7 days. It has been 2 months now and I still cannot access my funds. I have tried contacting the disbursement team via their email but I have had no response for months now. This is really frustrating and I am trying to close my business down as I am no longer trading but I cannot do so without receiving this payment from amazon so I can finalise my account.

I really hope someone can help me with this. This is the only way I have of trying to communicate with someone from amazon.

This was the last email I received from Amazon:

Thank you for your appeal. We have completed a comprehensive review of your account and we have removed our hold on the funds in your account. While we have approved the disbursement of your funds, you may be required to complete identify verification before the funds can be transferred.

Government regulations may require us to collect certain business and personal information from our sellers and take appropriate steps to confirm their identity. Because of these regulations, Amazon cannot disburse any funds to you until you have completed this identity verification process.

How do I complete identity verification?

To provide the missing information and allow us to disburse your funds, please log in to Seller Central at https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk using the email address and password associated with your account. Follow the instructions displayed in the notification box on the first page in Seller Central to continue. After I had received this email my money in my account was still on hold and I have tried communicating back but still have no response 2 months later !!!!
