EBC Content Images

Hi,

First of all thank you to anyone that answers.

has anyone encountered problems when upload images in EBC? does amazon supress the image quality even more then what im uploading in there guidlines?

Im uploading a 2000 x 2000 at 300dpi and a 3mb file limit. Ive compressed to 1.4mb

The images just seem to look pixlated which is fustrating.

If anyone else is having these issues or have had please let me know how you resolved.

Kind Regards
Julian

Hi! I’m facing the same issue right now, did you manage to figure out what the problem was?

God, we met same issue, and can not SAVE EBC as draft. Has contacted AMAZON Support team, they said the limitation is 250KB! Another said 400KB. what amazing, 400KB can not load a clear image!

I don’t think this is an error - it’s happened to us whenever we add EBC images. It doesn’t matter what resolution or format we use for the files we upload into the template, they end up looking horrifically compressed and smeared/soft in the template.

I think Amazon just uses some ridiculously over the top compression in the template that makes the images look terrible, like they’ve been shrunk down to a quarter of the resolution and then interpolated back to the original size

Hi, I am having real problems with the quality of my EBC images. I have tried numerous ways to get them to look good, with not joy. They just look blurry and pixelated once uploaded. Has anyone had any success gettting this issue sorted? Would love some guidance. Thanks
