8572 Error, How to Fix?
Hello,
Last week my brand got successfully enrolled in Amazon's Brand Registry AND I purchased a 12-digit GTIN number for $30 on GS1us.org, so I'm super excited to start selling my own branded product.
To create my listing, I copied another product's listing and replaced its info with my own info, including my GTIN number----but I'm getting an 8572 error that prevents me from submitting my listing! It says:
8572: You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, contact Seller Support.
What am I doing wrong? This is so frustrating. Is it an issue with my 12-digit GTIN number? All I did was pay $30 for it, and then I got an email confirmation saying my purchase was successful, so why isn't it working? Or is it an issue with copying someone else's listing? I tried copying a second listing but I'm still getting the same error, so I don't think that's the issue.
Please help. Thank you.
My case number is ID 17534452131

I have still not received any help on this question from Amazon!

Hi @Seller_NgFw6mhNssAGK,
I have reviewed the case and can see that you last updated the UPC information on GS1 on March 31st. It can take up to 14 days for the information to come across to Amazon and show that the brand on your ASIN and the UPC match. Anytime that you make an update on GS1, the time resets and can cause further delays. I do see that Seller Support has reached out to our internal team as well to work on this issue for you and they are waiting on an update. If would continue to try to list each day and see if it allows you to list your item.
If you still need help after they resolve your case, let me know and I will be happy to take another look, however, hopefully it will just allow you to list within the next few days once the information comes over from GS1.
Wishing you the best!
Michelle
