How to Reuse an EAN

Hi, I have EAN numbers from GS1. We make all of our own products. Some of the products are no longer sold. If you do “delete product and listing” it is still retained in the Amazon system. We want to recycle the numbers for completely new products. Does anybody know how to properly delete the EAN from Amazon’s system for reuse?

I very much doubt that you can.
Once a listing is created, that’s it, forever.
You will probably need to use a new EAN for a different product.

Not possible, I sell products that don’t have a EAN number and I got a EAN exemption, so now I don’t have to list with a EAN its great :wink:
