Private Sellers
Hi there, I’m a private seller and wanted to know how I can add tracking number for my shipping items. I choose Royal Mail second class signed for . I asked amazon for my payments they came back saying to speed up your payment you should add your tracking number . I couldn’t find any option on my selling page.
Please if anyone can help me as I checked every pages and highlighted icons but no avail.

It won’t help as they don’t speed up payments despite the written Policy.
You will still have to wait until the 7th day after the last EDD before the funds for each order become available for disbursement.

There are no “private sellers” on Amazon, I am assuming you wanted to say that you are an “Individual Seller”.
Tracking numbers can be entered at the time of dispatch confirmation after clicking on the “Confirm shipment” button, selecting the carrier, service used and inserting the number.
This way, you will successfully provide Amazon your order’s tracking details, which will be also handy in case of any potential issues, such as A-Z claims.
While the current Amazon policy regarding “Payments based on delivery” disbursement schedule states that you will receive the funds 7 days after the tracking information shows delivery, there weren’t any reports from sellers to say that this worked for them, so it’s better to expect your funds being available no earlier than 7 days past the last day of EDD range.

Thank you Kika for the reply. You are right . I am an individual seller. As I’m a beginner on Amazon I tried to do exactly what you said ( entering tracking number by selecting the carrier service) . When I purchase the label through Amazon it automatically shows shipped , then I click on shipped button, new pages comes up showing order date, detail , image, product name , order status and next to them is Action which is Edit consignment, print packing slip, refund order . when I click on order details new page shows my tracking Id and by clicking on it , it just shows the process of my posting item . There is no any “Confirm shipment” to click on and entering my tracking no. . But I really appreciate for your reply and I’ll try to figure it out. Take care.

Thank you Clearanceshed . This is exactly what I mean. I sent it through Amazon shipment with tracking ID and I can see all the process of my shipment plus signature of the buyer but somehow Amazon say if I insert the tracking number I could avoid the delay payment. I don’t know whether to ask them again to check my account or not. But I really appreciate your reply and also other members for not ignoring my question. Thank you all. I’ll contact Amazon .
