Awful sales volume due to BuyBox % and featured merchant issue since beginning of November
Hi there Forum members, I am reaching out to ask if anyone else has had this issue, as of the beginning of November our buybox % dropped from the three year average 15% to nothing a flat 0% this is across UK, DE, FR, ES & IT marketplaces, our account is in good standing and we’ve had no warnings or notifications in this time.
We are no longer eligible to be a featured merchant on any of our 1500 ASIN’s, this takes away the buybox for us and as you can understand it’s killed our sales stone dead, I have opened many cases on this and even mailed the MD’s office, just get a standard cut and past reply even from the MD.
Anyone else got similar issue at the moment?
Any advice or help from the community will be greatly appreciated, is Jessica out there today?

Some times you have not to be more than 5% lower than the next best price to win the buy box if more than that you may not keep the buy box.

We have lost most of our buybox due to the lengthy delivery time shown in the Amazon product page. We have contacted Amazon seller support about this issue, however, none of them can help on this.
We have set 0 handling time, and the Transit Time excluding handling time is 2-3 days. The estimated day should fall between 24- 26 November 2022, however, it has shown the delivery time December 5 - 7.
You can check if you have experienced the same issue too.
Hope this helps.

Same thing here. Went from a 15% buy box to 0 or 1% for no reason.
Certain ASIN’s are only doing about 25% of what they sold last year for an all year round products it’s quite a drop with no price increase I must add & are the only seller on these ASIN’s.

Yes I’ve had a similar issue! Buybox was at 60/75% now it’s down to 30%!

Amazon obviously not in the least bit scared of the government investigation?

Personally I think they should get rid of the Buy Box completely, and just list every item that is available in price order and let the customers choose who they want to buy from.
Buyers must take some responsibility for their choice of price and seller.
The buy box totally misleads customers, especially if not familiar with the site, into thinking that is what they click to buy, and not realising there are other sellers.
Also, in books/media, Amazon often give themselves the buybox for items ‘Currently unavailable’ (yet there are other sellers with them), supposedly NEW, listed at the original RRP for books published back in the 1950s/60s !!!

There seem to be lots of problems posted on the forums since the updated edit listing atribute pages went live mid october, although I’m not having a BB problem most of my Prime Exclusive Discounts have been suppressed since the update.

Always happy to join the discussion but unfortunately in this case there is really not much I can add to what is already written on the Help Pages.
