Business bank account, mainland Europe
Hello
Has any one who is UK resident / passport and UK registered company opened a business account in mainland Europe - what are the requirements?
Are you able to open a € business account with one of the EU countries without having to visit the country for interviews / identification etc. i.e. all online?

I use Transferwise. Set everything up online and through their phone app. No need to visit anywhere and the card arrived through the post in a couple of weeks. It allows local bank details in GBP, EUR, USD amongst others.
They allow SEPA B2C Direct Debits (in addition to SEPA transfers), which I understand France isn’t penalising businesses for using although they specify fines will be issued if payment of VAT is not by SEPA B2B Direct Debit. https://transferwise.com/gb/blog/direct-debits-business-gbp-eur
