Anyone else sick of Amazon creating 'cases' in your case log?

The last few weeks I’ve had Amazon create several ‘cases’ in my cases log for what are non-essential issues which really should either be dealt with in an email, the ‘news’, or at most a notification in my account.

The first inkling you get of one of these ‘cases’ is when one of those stupid boxes appear at the top of the home page. When you click through to your case log it says in big red letters, “Requires your attention”.

After you’ve read through it and found it doesn’t apply to you or that you are not interested, it tells you not to respond or that it’s not necessary to respond. However, if you don’t respond there is no way to clear the notice off the home page telling you there is a case.

Having just responded to the case and gone back to the home page, I now find there is no link whatsoever to my case log.

To make matters worse I have an urgent case regarding verification (which they are completely ignoring) and instead of answering that, THEY create these idiotic non-cases in MY case log.

Please tell me I haven’t just entered an alternate universe.

Same here, we replied to the case which asked us not to reply to just to clear it off and now the case log has vanished!..

I would like to know how many days is ‘several days’ in Amazons mind?

The message I received on 26th May states …“Please do not reply to this message, as it is sent via no-reply queue hence your question will not be monitored or answered . We will close this case automatically in several days.”

18 days and counting ….

Same here. I raised the issue several weeks ago when the first one appeared. I was told it would automatically close after several days. It hasn’t and Ive now got 4 in total.
As I also have several proper cases I have raised with support regarding errors when creating offers it is very annoying as I cant tell if Ive had a reply or if its just another of these messages.

I’m sick of them not answering the ones I raise and not being able to understand the question or read the provided information, and passing to someone you can’t speak to and can’t update

Yes I do find them irritating, couple with fact that my dashboard is riddle with adverts such as News, Explore FBA, Tutorial and training, Add more Products and list Globally… I like clean dashboards just as I like my computer Desktop.

To get to the Case Log now, scroll to the bottom of Seller Central click “Get Support”, then click “Case Log” top right. They don’t make things easy do they? But hey, this IS Amazon :slight_smile:

Yes agreed. I just reply to get it off my page even though it says no reply needed. Very annoying.
