Error 8572 - Help Needed
by Seller_AsCxd9BmPS730

discussion.I have been trying to list my first Amazon item for a week now. Having raised a case with seller support, I'm still unable to list my item.

I manufacture signs and want to list those.

I have a GTIN-13 and I've ensured that the brand name I've used on GS1 matches the manufacturer name in my Amazon listing. I've left the brand field as "generic" because having my name on the signs takes away from the visual effect and when I tried to request my brand be added, branded packaging was not sufficient alone, apparently.

So I'm now stuck. Can someone please help me.

Seller support keeps going round in circles telling me the same thing about it being due to a mismatch, but not specific in what doesn't match up.

Thanks

Suppressed listings - "Color not supplied" even though it IS
In reply to: Seller_d8YGbIjNqwFxn’s postby Seller_vtSzvxtW9StxE

it seems amazon wants all small seller out and unfairly blocking our listing and making it really hard to list item and sell on amazon.

already had to reduce sending FBA stock around 80% and started some other business that hopefully provide me way out.

Its been 13 years and all the hard work will be for nothing. Frankly its quite depressing and lately I feel amazon is government itself and create, follows and makes us to follow its own rules.

Hope this gets changed.

Suppressed listings - "Color not supplied" even though it IS
In reply to: Seller_vtSzvxtW9StxE’s postby Seller_d8YGbIjNqwFxn

Okay yours is different to mine. I get 8040 error and I delete all the Parent and Children then I can relist about 15 minutes later and it all works okay.

Mine are all FBM. I have largely quit FBA except for a small amount of fast selling cards. All the clothing which are the variation listings are no longer in FBA.

There were many reasons why I quit FBA but one of those was that listings just went suppressed and there are times I can't fix them and they then just cost me money to get the stock back.

I am fed up with Amazon messing around with listings it just takes up so much of my time to fix them.

I have been having an absolute nightmare with listings being suppressed due to "colour not provided". Some of these listings are two years old and all of a sudden they have become suppressed, even though colour WAS provided. I created all of these listings. I sent an email to the managingdirector@amazon.com as I suspect this to be a bug as it ONLY happens for brands which are 'brand protected'.

Communication seemed positive until their reason has gone back full circle to this absolute disgrace of a reason. "Our internal team completed to review the issue and determined that the variation relationship is not approved because it does not follow Amazon's listing policy. We cannot share any information about the specifics factors behind the decision due to confidentiality."

CONFIDENTIALITY?! I created the listings! This is no way helpful! I have created over 200 variation listings and this issue only arises to brand protected listings (those with 96 hours approval). I have been back and to, to get approval for these brands again to remove suppresssion, but they keep becoming suppressed. This seems like a bug in Amazons systems and they are unwilling to have their technical team look into this.

If there is an Amazon employee here, please can you reach out

Yet again Im having to deal with a load of Amazon nonsense. This is to do with there pricing policy.

I have a number of listings which have been deactivated, along with receiving health warnings due to the price. The main issue is that Amazon is asking me to match the reference price that is listed in there catalogue but the problem is that the reference price has been set too low either by Amazon or a previous seller. Some items are being asked to be priced for less than £1.00, 1 item I was asked match the reference price of 39p. I understand where the fault is, this is from someone adding shipping on top but the price isnt reflective for another seller like myself that includes free P and P with the shipping cost built into the price

Amazon is forcing us to match the reference price, but its not possible to purchase these products and ship for 39p. I have tried contacting seller support but the are utterly useless and a waste of time. Anybody got any ideas in how you get this issue fixed?

Pricing Policy Violations - Fault with Amazon - Asking me to Sell and Ship a product for 39p
In reply to: Seller_WmtXQ7zBKr61O’s postby Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid

It can't be fixed !

As a bookseller I have many that are deactivated for too high pricing, yet I can sometimes be the only seller with one available, but they deactivate so looks as though none available.

Hi,

I have received an email that is either genuine or a very good fake, with the title "Email - Action Required: Amazon seller account review". It wants me to click on a link and answer some questions to arrange a virtual video call to confirm my identity, which I am happy to do, but I would like to confirm that the email is genuine before I input my merchant token etc.

I can't see anything within my seller account to indicate that this email has been sent, and the email also says that "Your Amazon selling account has been deactivated ", but there is no indication of this either, which makes me think the email may be a good scam.

Whenever I have used seller chat (for other issues), the replies that I get have been unhelpful and inaccurate (to be polite), and I see that the help that people get is on here is great, so that is why I am asking here first. Could an Amazon mod please take a look at my account and let me know if this email is genuine?

Also, if any Amazon sellers think that the email sounds genuine, do you know how long I might have before my account is actually deactivated?

Thank you very much

Email - Action Required: Amazon seller account review
In reply to: Seller_LX9N4yh4mYnHt’s postby Seller_CbwHzxtZ0WP5C

@Seller_LX9N4yh4mYnHtHi, sorry for not replying. I didn't see your message. Hopefully you are sorted now, but I will answer anyway in case it helps anyone else reading.

I had to reserve 3 time slots (but I couldn't work out how to select 3 on the same day, so they were all on different days). I got an email asking me to upload the documents required, then I did the video call (there was a link in an email to join the call). The man on the call was very nice, patient and helpful. He asked for some verification info, and some info from my Amazon account (last order, tracking number etc) and said I would hear back within 4 working days. The Mexico account was reactivated on the same day. I took the required screenshots (of the reactivation email, merchant ID and account health page) and uploaded them to the UK account, then the next day my UK account was reactivated. My funds are due to be transferred in 2 weeks and I still have the buy button.
