Blocked Products due to Bladed Policy
by Seller_tz74iYhHLULoK
Amazon replied

As the title suggests, we have had many of our products blocked for being in breach of Amazon's bladed policy in the UK, despite the products that we sell not being sold with blades, and despite the products being live on the platform for many years prior. As I understand, the UK has laws on bladed products which is forcing Amazon to block products containing baldes that do not comply with the guidelines stated here:

https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/201852820

The products we sell are safety razors, yet these products do not contain blades. They are to be purchased separately. Permitted products as per the policy guidelines:

"Razor blades permanently enclosed in a cartridge or housing with less than 2 mm of blade exposed"

As these products do not contain blades, we believe that they can be sold - we still have variations available for sale along with other sellers who have not yet been blocked.

We cannot get past the first level support at Amazon and the issue has been ongoing for months. No matter how much we prove that the products are in essence, a lump of metal and contain no blades, they keep on hitting us with the bladed policy guidelines and we cannot proceed any further in having them unrestricted.

Is there any common sense to be had here?

This has to be the best one yet from the Amazon BOT!
by Seller_AJxxLujbGDqaW

As we know listings are being removed by the Amazon BOT every day, very often for no reason at all, however this is the best one yet, a computer mouse listed in, Keyboards, Mice & Input Devices >Mice

It is going to be removed unless it is moved to the SEEDS and PLANTS category, couldn't write the book! Come on Amazon, do better.

This is to inform you that the following detail pages are at the risk of removal from our catalog. You must take remedial actions before 7/1/2024, UTC, else your listing(s) will be removed from our catalog. It is your obligation to ensure that the products you offer, comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Amazon's policies.

ASIN: B0795X2KWW, SKU: QP-B9B0-V294, Title: 5 Button USB Optical Scroll Mouse with Built in Calculator Key Pad

Why is this happening?

This product has been identified as a live plant or seed product that is listed outside of the SEEDS_AND_PLANTS or PLANT_SEED categories. Please update the product_type attribute to either SEEDS_AND_PLANTS or PLANT_SEED values as a path to reinstatement.

Amazon doesn't remove unfair feedback
by Seller_gEv1wCLlWibuA
Amazon replied

One of our customers placed an order with us and requested a cancellation shortly. We cancelled the order 11 days ago, and the customer just left us 1-start seller feedback saying, "Cancelled this order still not received a refund."

Isn't that should be Amazon's responsibility to refund the customer when the order is cancelled? They say that they cannot remove the feedback as it is "a direct reflection of their Amazon shopping experience" and tell us that we should contact the customer even though the contact buyer button is gone!

Can Amazon Fulfil Orders Placed on My Website (Shopify) - MCF
In reply to: Seller_592L7zZmZXxBz’s postby Seller_76AUwmqvSyRIM

"Is it more expensive than using a third party fulfilment center?"

This is something you have to research as it completely depends on the costs that your nominated 3PL centre gives you. I have no experience in this but my (educated) guess is that it is expensive.

And remember storage charges etc etc that Amazon enjoys.

Use the link that @Seller_d8YGbIjNqwFxngave you and let us know how they compare.

One thing I can tell you is that the delivery times of MCF are extremely slow, eg 1 week for standard delivery, a few days less for expedited. Simply ridiculous.

Postage Refunds with Royal Mail Account
by Seller_fj3M54GkuGQyT
Amazon replied

I have had a few occasions in the past (typically 3 or 4 per month) where I have had to cancel a Royal Mail label, that I've generated through Buy Shipping. Usually a week or two later, I get an email from Amazon saying that Royal Mail have approved the refund and 'If you purchased this delivery using a linked carrier account, please work directly with the carrier for the refund'.

Now, I do have a linked Royal Mail account and I get my negotiated rates on Buy Shipping, but I have never seen any 'credits' or 'refunds' on my Royal Mail invoices for the cancelled labels.

I was just wondering if any of you have a linked account and know whether I'm supposed to manually request each refund from Royal Mail in addition to cancelling it on Amazon?

I should have picked up on this before really because I'll no doubt be a few hundred pounds out of pocket if I've not been refunded at all in the 3+ years we've had a Royal Mail account.

Dear @Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP

I trust this Message finds you well.

I am reaching out to address a critical issue affecting our business on Amazon. Over the past 2 weeks, we have experienced a drastic decline in sales, plummeting by 90%. Despite maintaining competitive pricing and boasting excellent seller ratings and account health, our buy box win rate has plummeted to 0% and on the seller app, the featured offer eligibility appears to be "NO" as shown in the screenshot attached.

This alarming situation is significantly impacting our business operations, and we are deeply concerned about the implications for our future success on the platform. As a full-time business reliant on Amazon, such challenges can be demoralizing and threaten our ability to sustain operations.

We urgently request your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible. Any insights or actions you can provide to rectify this issue would be immensely appreciated.

Deactivation nightmare
by Seller_WXCra8xehcDxE

@Seller_DNQGSsdC7DccM@Seller_TSXM2A5nxWSuH@Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN@Seller_yk3kzHpjMMa4B

I am imploring Amazon moderators for help please. For the second time in a year I have had my seller account deactivated because of an alleged relationship with another account. In both cases the identity of the other account is completely unknown to me (2 different accounts) but no matter how many times I explain this to the verification team or whoever makes decisions on these matters my appeals are rejected and 'more information' is requested. Apart from the name of the other account I have no idea who they are or why Amazon could possibly see any connection. I have sent a gas bill and a bank statement hoping this would satisfy them ( neither of which was specifically asked for but suggested by Account Health adviser) but no good. I simply don't see what else I could provide. In my view there is no justification for this deactivation. Surely if Amazon suspect a link they should provide evidence to back up their assertion which I could then refute. Moderators, what do you suggest?

Deactivation nightmare
In reply to: Seller_RlZVPg3d6ZUGP’s postby Seller_WXCra8xehcDxE

I can see no logical or obvious link between me and Edwards trading at all. I found references to 2 companies of that name online, both in North Wales (I am in Bristol) one has a retail business, the other does house clearance. I sell books! On the link you sent I can't tell what they are selling, can you?

Listing uploader TSV returning 0 items
by Seller_xTSxzGoaBpdXQ

Hello,

For months I've been using the same template to upload my SKUs using the Listing Uploader. Since a few days ago, this same template no longer works and I get the error

Template type "offer" does not exist or is not supported. Exception type: METADATA_FETCH_ERROR(90025).

Has anyone come across the same thing? From what I can see, the template has not changed & the example inside Seller Central is still the same ( https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/1641?ref=ag_1641_cont_G581&locale=en-GB#GUID-F3234ABF-8AC2-488E-BEA3-95FCF5E04BCA__SECTION_122D1157A995446CABFD7EC58F36451C -> scroll down to bottom click on "Listing Loader" or "Inventory Loader" )

I have this in my CSV like I always have:

TemplateType=Offer Version=2014.0703
