Order 026-3242530-0140301. Case Id 9731342262. Customer wanted to return product and amazon customer service had customer return it to their fulfillment center and now wants us to issue the customer a refund while our inventory is lost in their warehouse. We have no way to recover inventory and amazon policy states no refund needs to be issue until inventory is returned to us.

I recently received an email from amazon in regards to verifying establishment for value added tax to prove im UK Eligible.

I received this email -

Hello,

Thank you for your submission. We reviewed the information provided, but we need additional documentation to determine whether you are established in the UK for Value Added Tax (VAT) purposes.

Why did this happen?

We must collect and remit VAT from non-UK established selling partners for the sales of goods delivered to customers in the UK. Based on a review of your account, we determined that you may not be UK established for VAT purposes. We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision. We took this action in accordance with the Amazon Business Solution Agreement:

What actions do I have to take?

If you operate a Limited Company :

1.Evidence that you are physically operating your business from your provided address.

You can provide any one of the following documents :

-A recent UK council tax bill or business rates of the current year, addressed to the company or a director of the company.

-A recent utility bill dated within 180 days addressed to the company or the director of the company.

-If you are using a shared working space, you can provide one of the following:

A recent license agreement

Copies of invoices for payment of rent

A proof of payment of rent.

The document must be in the name of the company or the director,with the shared working space provider, for a period of 6 months or longer.

2.Provide the below document for proof of operational business address.

-A copy of an invoice addressed to the company at its primary place of business for goods or services used to operate its business. It must be dated within 180 days.

If you do not meet the UK establishment criteria: Verify that you are not established in the UK.

In this case, you will not need to provide documentation, but you will need to pay Amazon to account for the un-paid VAT.

However I've sent over : Phone Bills, Companies House certificate, passport, driving license, bank statements, goods invoices.

This still isn't allowing them to verify me, does anybody have any advice? Thanks!

max stacking height UK pallets

hi, trying to ship a pallet into the UK DC.

4 rows high on a pallet comes in at 1524mm, excluding the pallet (approx 150mm)

FBA is saying it needs to be split across 2 pallets?

I can't seem to find an official source on max height, but the info I have says it it 1.8m, so I should be under that?

any official requirements on this?

Our freight company has told me that my order is supposed to be delivered to Amazon UK LBA4.

Due to LBA4 is busy, Amazon informed our freight partner to redirect the cargo to LTN7, does it affect the inventory update time? Does Amazon will finally internally move my cargoes to LBA4 from LTN7?

Hi all,

Hoping to see if anyone has any advice as I feel I am getting absolutely nowhere with seller support.

I started selling approximately 3 months ago and one product was from the brand Vaseline. In hindsight, I realise I had listed my products not on the parent "Vaseline" ASIN, but on a generic third party ASIN for the same product.

Within a day of listing, I received an IP complaint claiming my goods were counterfeit, from the alleged rights owner - who doesn't have a surname, a position or any other contact details other than a gmail address, and he has the audacity to complain about authenticity.

My goods are authentic and purchased from a UK based PLC with over £1bn in turnover every year. I have invoices to prove this.

This is where the problems started. The stock was moved to FC processing and held temporarily whilst I can resolve the claim. I have offered to take the stock back and even sell on another platform as a resolution, but SS are advising the only way stock can be released is if the rights "owner" retracts the IP claim.

I've emailed Sean multiple times, who has clearly no intention of responding to me, so we're no further forward. Seller Support keep following their script without using any common sense to work through a solution. I have been speaking to SS for nearly 8 weeks now but they just keep regurgitating the same responses.

My question(s):

1. Does anyone see a way forward? I've contacted the appeals team but they just say my invoices aren't a retraction from the rights owner, so they can't do anything and the stock just stays in limbo.

2. What is to stop sellers claiming to be the rights owner on basically any ASIN? Its evident (to everyone but SS I suppose) that someone with a gmail address isn't going to be the rights owner of Vaseline, but all the onus seems to be on the accused with no recourse? If this is the case, its incredibly poor on Amazon's side as I could lay claim to 50 ASINs tomorrow.

Just looking to try and get my stock back and then re-list on the correct ASIN,

Hi Sakura!

We've received a response from Amazon CC to say that as a trackable RM service was selected we needed to input a number. A trackable service wasn't selected and we do as we always do and added "RM" > "stamps/franking". This has always been for internationals. Stamps/franking is not a trackable service so they are incorrect with this reasoning.

This issue has arisen since last weeks problem was solved for us where RM Tracked 24's and 48's were classed as invalid. They've solved one problem but created another.

I have an ASIN went under dangerous goods review on 10 June 2024 and it was classified as Non-Dangerous good the next day.

However, all my inventory is then changed to Reserved: FC transfer and not unavailable to customers.

The support keeps giving me the canned response "inventory is shipped between fulfilment centres for effectively manage storage and create the best availability for customers".

This doesn't make any sense to transfer ALL MY INVENTORY between fulfilment centres and there is NO AVAILABILITY for customers.

Can you please stop transferring ALL MY INVENTORY between fulfilment centres and making part of the inventory available?
