Advertising without Buy Box
Hi,
I don’t have the buy box yet, so from what I understood in this forum, I can’t really use Sponsored Products yet, can you please confirm that for me?
Second, I thought running a 5% Voucher instead may help seeing as the voucher text seems to appear in search results under the products in green text. Mine however is not appearing neither in search results or on the product detail page. Only shows up as attached IF somebody clicks on ‘See All Buying Options’ and there isn’t even a tick box for it to use it. Photo below and asin: B07SK86BBK
Could somebody confirm if this is also because I’m running this voucher without having a buy box?
Is there anything sensible that I can run without a buy box as I am willing to invest in advertising but going around in circles at the minute as a new seller

Yes, this is correct. The BuyBox eligibility is among the account requirements of ability to use Sponsored Products:

Professional seller or vendor

Active account in good standing with Amazon

The ability to ship to the country you are advertising for

Valid payment method

You must have product listings that are eligible for the Buy Box in one or more of the available categories (see the table below)
Here you can review the Voucher eligibility criteria. As far as I know, there is no mention of BuyBox.

The only option really available to you is external marketing and advertising such as social media. Until you have the buy box you are very limited.
I presume you are also on the professional selling plan as you cannot get the buy box without it.
