Amazon A to Z I need help
Greetings everyone, lots of sales. The customer asked me for a refund, and I created a return label and told the customer that we would issue a full refund once the item arrived at our warehouse.
He told me he had Amazon Prime and shouldn’t have to pay shipping for the return, I didn’t know what to do. how do i handle it
Good days

I assume this is something you shipped yourself and not FBA? Are you part of Seller Fulfilled Prime? What category is the sale and what is the return reason?
Has an AtoZ actually been claimed?

FBA returns are processed by Amazon and FBM are automatically generated via Amazon unless you have arranged an alternative method.
FBM - Subject to the reason for return the seller is entitled to reclaim the costs of the prepaid return label. It’s noted however some select the wrong reason for return so it cannot be deducted from the total refund. Many sellers have already reported some are abusing the returns policy by selecting the wrong reason for return. We have also noted some are now raising an A-Z claim when the deductions are being made from the refund which are being funded Amazon. However if Amazon applied the policy by the book the A-Z claim would normally be denied. I must admit the process appears frustrate many.

We often get this, just explain that free Prime returns are only on items marked with the Prime badge and the product he bought wasn’t as you are not a Prime seller (presuming you aren’t). It may be that the item is available on Prime from another seller but they chose your offer because it was cheaper.
