ASIN application rejected - why?
I am trying to list a new clothing brand on Amazon UK so I understand I need to create a ASIN per colour, per size? When I do I am getting the following rejection message;
"We found that you are not UPC exempted. Also, as per our system of records the UPC owner and Brand do not relate.
Please create a new appeal providing real life (physical) images of the product that clearly shows the barcode along with the UPC, and brand.
(Please note: gibberish/alphanumeric/only alphabetical number provided {Example : %FDH@@$%/50XB2357UJ8/THJDLJDVDMDOH}, ASIN or SKU are not considered as UPC)
You may include multiple images to ensure that all the required information is captured.
Note: We do not accept GS1 certificates or any other documents as valid proof to validate UPC.
(If you are getting blocked by the 5461 Error when applying for GTIN exemption on the GTIN landing page, please request attach the 5461 Error Screenshot on the GTIN Exemption landing page)"
…I sent pictures of the product, brand, labelling but it was still rejected. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?
Thank you

Did you show them the EANs / UPCs on the labels ?
Do they have EANs ?
If so, did the manufacturer provide them or are they yours ? Bought from GS1
