Best Selling Listings Hijacked and changed - Amazon Don't Care!
My best sellers have been hijacked by Chinese sellers who have totally changed the listings. Some of the listings have 100’s of 5 star reviews. I have been contacted Amazon since September 2018 and they have done absolutely nothing to help me. They simply close the ticket and when I complain they just ask me to open another. The listings even were my Trademark and barcodes. This just goes to show how bad this has become that Amazon are not bothered.
Makes me wonder with all the fake reviews on the site how long before no one trusts Amazon at all. Its like the wild west and its Amazons own fault for opening this Pandora’s box. As this kind of stuff is in the media I have contacted the Independent who interview me next week and they will run the story and expose how we are being manipulated.

Amazon encourage Chinese Sellers. They gain commission from them.
There seem to be so many of them now though!
Even UK / EU Sellers are now causing more issues though as buying from cheap Chinese factories and all the same ‘generic’ item with their own brand. Many just on the box and a label on the item, making them ‘unique’. As many are small Sellers, are the items really CE approved and checked for safety etc, as that often costs many £1000’s per item line to check. I’m aware larger ‘manufacturers’ inform us when tested in the UK, many products fail their thorough safety tests, even though the Chinese factory has a ‘made up’ certificate.
1 item that was supposed to be safety approved had a UK Mains power adapter (CE safety approved) and even caught fire and burnt the makers MD’s office down as an example.
Once Buyers do not trust Amazon, a bit like many are very wary with EBay and Wish, it will mean sales will decrease even further for good Sellers. Especially as Amazon do not assist anyone

Unfortunately to only way to counter the Chinese sellers is to do the same as in not to change the listings but to get your name trademarked to stop people selling on your listings and in turn to stop them changing the titles.
I happened to get my name trademarked 3 years ago but started including my trademarked name on listings over the past few months as the Chinese sellers have sent intellectual property complaints to amazon.

As long as you are buying a known make you are fine, eg AKAI, Sony, BT, etc
Chinese don’t sell those either

Its driving me crazy the sizes have all been changed, the description reads differently and is written by people with poor understanding of the products…banging my head against the wall. Help anyone???
