'Complete' button functionality in auto-authorised 'Manage Returns' page?
Hi folks!
Amazon auto-authorised a return for an intimate Hazmat item, which shouldn’t have been authorised per Amazon’s own policies given it’s not a returnable item if opened/used.
The Buyer has admitted they shouldn’t have raised the two RMA returns on the same item. Those reasons being ‘incompatible or not useful for intended purpose’ and ‘performance or quality not adequate’. They’ve supposedly followed my request to close the return from their side, but the two RMA’s still show up under ‘Manage Orders’.
Amazon SC Support has been useless. The action seems to be very much on the Buyer, but obviously that’s dependant on them being compliant.
My question - I read on another thread that clicking the ‘Complete’ button under each RMA should offer a few suggestions, one of which is to notify Amazon that the Buyer no longer wishes to return the item. As this advice dates back to 2020 I just wanted to check with you lovely lot exactly what the ‘Complete’ button does - I’d hate for it to trigger a very expensive refund!
Cheers!

Hi,
I am in the same situation right now. Did you find out what is happening when you click that button?
The buyer is trying a false claim on refunds and I do not want to accept it but it is auto-authorized by Amazon because she choose missing accessories while it is only 1 (no parts) solid item.
Amazon seller support is ruining my mental health :((((
Thanks for your time.
Kind regards
Esra
