Entering weights in click & drop -
one post I have read (eleswhere) mentioned that a RM advisor told them - for example if you send several letter size items on C&D then you have to put the exact weight in for each letter or your will be charge a further 85p per item. So if I send say 20 letter size that vary in weight but are all under 100g do I then have to put the exact weight on each order / letter - I though I could just batch them and enter 20 letters at 100 grams. If I have to enter the weigh for each individual letter / large letter its going to be tiem cosuming ?

No idea about the charges, different sellers seem to have different experiences of being fined and whilst you could do what you are suggesting there is really no need to do that.
In C&D one of the first things you should do is upload a stock / sku file with the weight of the item and the package size. Then you can create rules to automate your orders, as they come in C&D will automatically apply the postage with the weight from the stock sku. Job Done!
The other way of doing it is by manually adding the postage and C&D will store that information for next time.
The problem is with multi orders, if you have an item that weighs 30g and the packing is 30g, should somebody buy 2 then your weight would be 90g. With the automation the weight would be 120g. All our items are currently going out over 100g on the manifest.

not that easy for me to upload a stock / sku file as I have a lot of listings (greeting cards) and a lot of buyers may buy mutiply cards in one order - plus theres the weight of the packing to account for as well. So really i am going to have to check every single order and apply the weight to each one. JUst giving me a bit of a headache trying to figure it all out - I was fined a few years back (when new to ppi ) for putting letter and large letter & Parcels in the same sack, no -one at RM ever explained this all to me ( I rang to plead my case but they would not budge) - now I’m nervous about getting the weights wrong with C&D
